During election “season” (which seems perpetual these days), online debates are common. You can’t turn a corner on the internet without running into an argument.
But it isn’t every day that one gets to witness something this entertaining.
It all started with this Tweet from famed horror, science fiction, and fantasy writer Stephen King:
Cthulhu did not take too kindly to the comparison and released a statement in response to King’s comment:
Trump could barely hope to be 1/63 as great as I am if he weren't such a buffoon, @StephenKing
The Twitterverse chimed in with its thoughts:
This is insulting and disrespectful. Those of us working hard campaigning for @cthulhu4america won't forget.twitter.com/StephenKing/st…
Why choose the lesser evil? @cthulhu4america #learningtodiein the #cthulhucene cthulhuforamerica.com/kissinger-rema…
.@StephenKing - we suspect as much, though nobody trumps#Cthulhu: rdbl.co/2crsnDx
Eight years ago we elected the first non-white POTUS. This year, let's elect first (and last) horror of the deep,@cthulhu4america .
At this point, Chtulhu doesn’t seem like such a bad choice. Why vote for the lesser of two evils when The Greatest Evil is an option?
