Poll Shows 80 Percent of Syrians Believe US Created ISIS | The Daily Sheeple

By now there is only one demographic that doesn’t know the true origins of ISIS, and that is the brain-dead masses who still get their news from the mainstream media. They’ve yet to read the declassified documents that prove ISIS is largely a creation of our own government, and they probably never will. For now, the belief in this origin story is a minority opinion in the United States, but if you were to visit the people living in the region that is being bombarded by ISIS, you’d find that quite the opposite is true.

The results of a new survey by ORB International and the Iraqi research company known as IIACSS, has found that quite a few Iraqis and Syrians are skeptical of the mainstream story of ISIS’ origins. They interviewed 1,234 adults in Iraq and 1,365 adults in Syria, many of whom are currently living in ISIS controlled areas. They found that 81% of Syrians and 85% of Iraqi’s believe that “ISIL is a foreign/American made group.”

The polls also provide further evidence that ISIS is not a genuine movement that reflects the attitudes of the average person. Roughly 70% of those polled disagreed with the idea of dividing their nations into autonomous regions. 21% of the Syrians thought that life was better now than what it was like under Assad, and only 22% said ISIS was a positive influence. Only 5% of Iraqi’s thought ISIS was a positive influence. So how does a movement that very few people actually support, become such an influential power in the region?
